Cos Fest 2005 Pt 1

Event Cosfest 2005
I have to admit that my initial reason to attend cosfest 2005 is to laught at the cosplayers. After comparing local cosplay and those in japan, most of my peers reactions are , " Wah! SG cosplayer cannot make it. Jap one sibeh chio"
Erm... Jap cosplayer are definately chio, some of them are porn stars if u notice. So armed wif my handphone and low expectations, I went to the event.
My first reaction when I step into the place was.... Wow!
The crowd cheering , the cosplayers walking around posing, cameras flashing non stop..... U can feel the excitment in the air. I go around looking out for characters that i know, pointing and staring at them. I'm like a kid let loose in a candy store.
The cosplayers are very friendly, non of them reject any offers to take photos and even does different poses for us to shot. At that moment, it doesn't matter if they cosplayers are pretty or not, it doesn't matter if their costume are accurate or not. What matters was that everyone was having fun.
It was a nice day. Except It was rather freaky to see Guilty Gears characters eating at BK O__O""""
This day changed my view of cosplayers, they are no longer the wannabes which i thought they are. They are just a fun bunch of people exibiting their interest, show out their costumes and equipment.
Below are some photos which i took, the quality's quite bad. Hopefully next time I'll get a real digicam, and read up on more characters before I go.

Cos Fest 2005 Pt 2
I went out of the tent and saw lots of people, including the cosplayers themselves taking photos of the sky (kinda reminds me of Wars of the Worlds). I look up and saw....
The special thing about this pic is that its taken directly 90 degress facing up. Its a bad omen... my spide sense are tingling. Suddenly a fight broke up!

I was about to stop them but something caught my eye. Jap school gals! And they are darn pretty : ) This gal on the left looks damn cool.
Woo hoo... look at the white hair. I like!
